I am looking for the parents of James H Gill b Nov 1824 in NC who married Elizabeth (unknown) b. 1825 in TN. In 1870 he was living in Humphrey Co TN , later Houston Co. TN Is 45 years old and a farmer. They had four Children

  1. Charles b. 1850 in Humphrey Co m. Ronda Elizabeth Clark Oct 1 1870 in Stewart Co. TN
  2. Thomas b. 1853 in TN m. Sarah (unknown) ca1878 in TN
  3. Mary Elizabeth b Aug 29,1854 in Humphrey Co m. John Bell
  4. Monroe S was born 1861 in Ky m Sarah Sallie Bell

Monroe is my Great Grandfather.

Thomas Gill from Granville Co. NC lived in Maury Co TN not far from Humphrey Co. I would like to know if any of his children had a child name James H Gill who was born in NC. Any information you can supply would be helpful.
