Notes for DARLING JEFFERSON GILL:

Jeff's first name is listed as "Darling" on his marriage certificate to Martha J. Martin, which is recorded in the Lawrence Co., MS marriage books. His brother Reuben was a witness to the marriage.

After his first wife died, Jeff moved to Rapides Parish, LA and lived with his brother Reuben and his family prior to his second marriage. He was listed as part of Reuben's household in the 1850 Rapides Parish Census.
