My GGGrandfather was John J. Gill. I have a copy of his marriage license. It shows that he was married in Iberville Parish on April 24, 1883. He is the son of Michael Gill & Jeane Philip. He married Matilda Marionneaux, legitimate daughter of Alverini Marionneaux & Josephine Kleinpeter.
A true record inscribed April 18, 1884
I hope this is of some help to other Gills. I am looking for information on Michael and John J. Gill. I have information from John J to present.
