Will of John Beasle(y)

In the name of God amen; I John Beasle of the State of South Carolina and District of Darlington, being Sick & weak of Body (but of perfect sence and memory) Praised be almighty God do make ordain appoint and constitute, this my last will and testament in manner and form following

(Vizt. I give my soul to God from whom I received it, trusting thro. the blessed merits of my Saviour to receive it again in glory at the Resurrection, my body I commit to the Earth to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors; and as for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bestow on me I give & bequeath in manner & form following first I give and bequeath to my well beloved son Daniel Beasle the Plantation and Land whereon I now live after his Mother's decease together with one horse.

Second I lend to my well beloved wife Margaret Beasle the plantation and land whereon I now live during her life time and then to my son Daniel Beasley.

Third I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Margaret Beasley, one mare together with all my other stock and Household property it hath pleased God to bestow upon me.

Lastly I ordain appoint and constitue my well beloved son Reuben Beasle and Stephen Thompson Executors of this my last will and testament,
