Based on the March 1777 will of Edward BALL in Liberty Co., GA., he had a brother William BALL. They were sons of Bartholomew BALL and Elizabeth HENLEN? Is there any record for this William BALL in Darlington District? Legend says William accompanied brothers Edward and Sampson BALL to GA ca 1766-67; however, have been unable to pick up a lead on William.

Did Mary BALL, youngest child of Bartholomew BALL and Elizabeth HENLEN, marry Jared NELSON? Or did she die young, perhaps unmarried and without issue? Neither she nor a child was mentioned in the will of her brother Edward BALL.

John Evans BROACH born ca. 1826 married Sarah Ann MOZIL BARNETTE born ca. 1830. John Evans BROACH and Sara Ann BROACH are listed on the 1860 Census in Darlington, South Carolina with two of their children still at home....Abner Calhoun BROACH and Silester. I would like to know who John Evans BROACH 's father is. I believe it to be Jams Evander BROACH who I believe to be the son of Abner BROACH who bought land in the old Darlington District in 1791. Samuel migrated to Amite Co., MS with his wife, Mary MYERS and children about 1809. William, I believe, migrated about the same time to Washington Parish, LA.
