Will of Jolly Webb

Cheraw District, Darlington County
I Jolly Webb Planter of The State and County afore Said,
being Sick, Yet of Sound and perfect mind and memory, Do constitute
This my Last Will & Testament in form & Manner following - Imprimis
- I will That a ll my Just debts Be Paid
Item I give to my Wife Sarah Webb one hundred Acres of land lying
& being down ye The branch below where I now live & Joyning Lands of
Robert Lide Esqr- to her & her Heirs and assigns for ever - also
give unto my Wife One Cow,& calf also one half of all my household
goods I give to my wife.
Item - I give a Negro fellow Named Dis, to my two Daughters are
young Children Sally and Juda in order that they may be raised
by The Labor of this fellow.
Item - I give unto my wife Two horses, The bay & Sorrel - also
four head of sheep.
Item - I give unto my son Jolly all The rest of my Lands tenement
& Appertenances thereunto belonging which I have not all ready
given.
Item - I give unto my Son a horse bridle & saddle & all my wearing
aperral.
Item - I will that all my Plantation & Shoe maker and every other
kind of Tools be equally divided between my Wife and Son Jolly.
Item - I give to my son four head of Sheep, I will that my stock
of hogs be equally devided between my Wife & my son Jolly, also
give to my two little Daughters Sally and Juda Two Calves & cows with
their increase I do here by appoint& Constitute my Son Jolly Exec. & my
wife Exec. of this my last will and - in witness where of I have hereunto
Set my Hand & Seal This Seventh day of February 1793
and in the Seventeeth Year of American Independence.
