CARMICHAEL CEMETERY

Directions: located at Pee Dee State Park....drive all the way in to the dam.
from there cross over the dam and walk till you get to the wooded area...go
right and you will see a fire break. there are paths and is an easy walk.
pass by the fire break and go left. the cemetery is about 20 yards ahead.
MAJOR DANIEL CARMICHAEL...A VOLUNTEER OF THE WAR OF 1812
AT AGE OF 18 YEARS....DIED 1865

NOTE: WE'VE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE WERE OTHER GRAVES AT
THIS CEMETERY BUT THESE WERE ALL WE FOUND.
