Dropped Dead At Dillon
Neil Arnett, a Prosperous Farmer, Falls Dead Without Warning
Special to the State.
Dillon-Jan 7-Neil Arnett, a prosperous farmer of the Gaddy's Mill
neighborhood drove into Dillon today about 1 o'clock, put his team up at Wiggin's stable,
took a seat by the stove in the office and asked for an orange which he began to eat.
In a short time, without's a second's warning, he fell over and when examined by a
physician who was called at once, he was dead.
Mr Arnett had, it is said, been drinking for several days.
Mr Arnett was about 50 years old. He leaves a wife and children. He was
in good circumstances and everybody spoke kindly of him as a neighbor and friend.
