Funeral Of Mrs Stackhouse
She Died From Burns Received a Few Days Ago

Mullins---Dec 24---The funeral of Mrs Mary Ann Stackhouse of Little Rock, this county, occurred yesterday at 2 o'clock at her house.

Mrs Stackhouse was the mother of Mrs Dempsey Lewis and Mrs Wm Rogers of this place. After suffering for years with paralysis and being nearly helpless, in some unknown way she caught fire to her clothing a few days ago and was badly burned. She lay at the point of death for several days.

There are numerous prominent families in Marion County connected with Mrs Stackhouse who will mourn her death.
