Carl Jackson Dead

Mr. Carl Jackson died at his home near Kentyre Church Monday night after an illness of three weeks with pneumonia. Mr. Jackson was about 22 years of age and leaves a wife, who was Miss Sadie Cottingham, a daughter of Mr. W.S. Cottingham of Dillon, and one child. Mr. Jackson was a son of Jno R. Jackson who lives near Kentyre church, and was an industrious farmer. He was a member of Kentyre Church, and the interment was made at the McEachern graveyard near Hamer Tuesday afternoon, his pastor Rev. Jno McQueen conducting the ceremonies.

[Note: Daniel Carl Jackson was the son of John R. Jackson and Sallie J. McEachern.]
