Carlie Arnette Passed Away Thursday

Carlie Arnette, 54, died at the St Eugene Hospital Thursday evening after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Pearlie Butler Arnette, eight sons, Albert, Clarence, Clyde, FLoyd, Carlie, Jr., William, Alton, Jerry Monroe, and Gentry, who is in the Navy; also three daughters, Beatrice, Rosa Mae, and Esther Pearl. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev Mr Threat and Rev Wade Gainey in charge. Interment was in the church cemetery.
