Brumzie Brumbles
Miss Brumzie Ann Brumbles, who died Jan 15, at the home of her niece, Mrs
Jessie Herring, of Robeson County, after a lingering illness.
She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Hardin Brumbles.
Miss Brumbles had reached the age of 98, fifty of which had been spent in
Dillon. She was a member of Latta Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held from the home of her niece Jan 16, with Rev
Frank Lyon officiating, and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Miss Brumbles is survived by 12 nephews, 36 grand-nephews, 43 great-grand
nephews, 16 nieces, 35 grand-nieces and 48 great-grand nieces.
