Mrs Julia Herring of Dillon
Dillon--Feb 7--Mrs Julia Ann Herring, 78,
widow of Alex Herring, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs
Will McCormick after an illness of six weeks. Funeral services were held
Wednesday afternoonn at Kentyre Presbyterian Church. The pastor, Rev Boyle,
was assisted by Dr J A Ward, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment
was in the church cemetery. Surviving are the following children; Mrs Will
McCormick, Mrs Lena P Tyler, and Thomas Herring, Dillon, and Carson Herring,
Chadbourn, NC; one sister, Mrs Louise Connor, Purvis NC and 14 grandchildren.

Herring, 76, widow of the late Alex Herring, died Tuesday at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Will McCormick with whom she resided, after an illness of six
weeks. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at
Kentyre Presbyterian church by Rev. Mr. Boyle, assisted by Dr. J. A. Ward,
pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Herring is survived by the following children: Mrs. Will McCormick, Mrs.
Lena P. Tyler and Thomas Herring, Dillon and Carson Herring, Chadbourn, N. C.
and one sister, Mrs. Louise Connor, Purvis, N. C. and 14 grandchildren.
