David Galloway, Spartanburg Attorney, Dies
Spartanburg, Feb 13—(Special)—David W Galloway, 63, prominent Spartanburg
attorney, died at his home this morning.
A native of Dillon, he attended Wofford College and the University of South
Carolina Law School. A member of the Spartanburg Bar Association and the Elks Club,
he had resided in Spartanburg for the past 25 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Lois Shores Galloway; three sons, David W of
Berkley, Calif., R M of Woodruff, and Dr James B Galloway of Philadelphia; two
daughters, Mrs Mary Mack of Spartanburg and Mrs Ruth Drennen of Sacramento, Calif;
and one sister, Mrs Fred Meyer of Miami, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning from the Floyd
mortuary. Interment will be in Dothan Cemetery, near Latta, at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.
