Mrs Herring of Dillon, 66

Dillon---Oct 28 (special)---Mrs Mary Herring died Thursday at her home following a year's illness. Her age was 66.

She was the daughter of Furman and Lizzie Hartley of Marion County.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Herring; six daughters, Mrs Arthur Flowers of Latta, Mrs Everett Taylor, Mrs George Grimsley, Mrs Coy Huggins, and Miss Mary Jane Herring of Dillon, and Mrs Jessie Zambito of New York City; and three sons, Charles of Dillon, Thomas C., Jr., of Lumberton, NC.,and Carson Herring of Flint Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm today from the Second Baptist Church with the Rev E L Coleman officiating assisted by the Rev Robert Melton and the Rev Clyde Cox. Burial will be in Riverside.
