Mrs Herring's Rites Set Today

Dillon---Aug 3--(Special)--Funeral services for Mrs Mattie Dow Herring, who died last night after a lingering illness, will be conducted from Beulah Church at 3:30 Thursday afternoon by the Rev Enoch Caulder, assisted by the Rev John Jenkins. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.

A daughter of the late Tom and Viola Herring, Mrs Herring is survived by her husband, Daniel Herring; three brothers, Jasper of Concord. NC, and David and Tom of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Mrs Ethel Bryant of Lumberton.
