John D Tucker

Dillon-Feb 23--Special-John David Tucker, 71, died this morning in St Eugene Hospital following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Sunday morning from Williams Funeral Home by the Rev L M Goude of Pentecostal Church, Laurinburg NC. Burial will be in Riverside.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs Minnie Tucker; six daughters, Mrs Rosella Britt of Lake View, Miss Irene Tucker of Dillon, Mrs Janie DeHort and Miss Mae Tucker of Danville, Va, Mrs Cora Hyatt of Dillon, and Mrs Ruby Tucker of Society Hill; Lacy Tucker of Baltimore, Md; four brothers, C M Tucker of Winston Salem, NC, J B Tucker of Nichols, S H Tucker of Laurinburg, and B W Tucker of Chester; three sisters, Mrs Lonnie Mills of Blaney, Mrs Minnie Howard and Miss Katie Tucker of Columbia; and several grandchildren.
