Dewitt Hamer

Funeral services for Dewitt Hamer, 64, who died Thursday morning in a Columbia hospital, were held at 5pm Friday in Bethea Funeral Home.

Burial was in Hamer Cemetery of Little Rock.

Mr Hamer was a son of the late Brooks and Walker Bennett Hamer of the Little Rock Community.

Surviving are two brothers, Brooks Hamer of Little Rock, and Bennett Hamer of Dillon; four daughters, Mrs Percy Lewis of Florence, Mrs George Debitt of Springfield, Mass., Mrs Donald Newton of Clemson, and Mrs Stephen Galit of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs John Keller of Little Rock.
