F M Herring

Mullins---F M Herring, 67, died Thursday at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday from the First Baptist Church by the Rev Lewis McCormick and the Rev Bob Lovell. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery.

Mr Herring was born in Dillon County, a son of the late Daniel and Sara Cook Herring. He was employed by the City of Mullins and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Dannie Cook Herring; one son, Bennett Floyd Herring, Sr. of Mullins; three daughters, Mrs Leslie Lewis of Marion and Mrs Nellie Hayes and Mrs Harold Sawyer of Mullins; two brothers, Hyman and Cecil Herring of Latta; one sister, Mrs Annie Sweet of Latta and 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
