Ezra L Herring

Columbia--Ezra Lawton Herring, 52, of 7037 Julia St., died Wednesday morning at his residence. Mr Herring was born in Dillon, son of Mrs Minnie Hite (should be Hyatt...cgk) Herring and the late T B Herring. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Dillon, and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are three sons, Ezra L. Herring, Jr, James M Herring and Robert K Herring, all of Dillon; his mother, of Dillon; four brothers, Willie S., Joe, and T B Herring, Jr., of Dillon, and Mack J. Herring, Florence; and three sisters, Mrs H L Jackson, Dillon, and Mrs O;Neal Price and Mrs Chester Taylor of Latta. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Bethea Funeral Home, Dillon.
