Arthur Cook

Dillon----Arthur Cook, 70, died Thurdsday in a local hospital after a long illness.

Mr Cook was born in Dillon County, a son of the late Moses and Nancy Scott Cook. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are two daughters, six sisters, Mrs D D Stewart, Mrs Mamie Tyler, Miss Mary Cook, Mrs Linda Carter, and Mrs Mollie Hyatt of Dillon and Mrs Eutha Mae Jackson of Charlotte, NC; four brothers, Benny Cook of Charlotte, NC; the Rev R C Cook of Chattanooga, Tenn, and Junior and James Cook of Dillon.

Services will be 2:30 pm today in Dillon. Full Gospel Holiness Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is in charge.
