William E Herring

Hollywood Fla--William Everett Herring, 56, died Thursday in Hollywood. Born in Dillon, he was a son of the late Edmond and Nora Moody Herring. He was a World War II veteran and was employed by American Freight Co. Services will be 11am Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon. Blanton-Cottingham Funeral Home is in charge.

Dillon Native is Dead......Hollywood Fla... 
William Everett Herring, 56, a native of Dillon, died Thurday in Hollywood. 
      He was a son of the late Edmond and Nora Moody (should be Mooney...cgk) 
and was a World War II veteran. He was employed by American Freight Company.   
      Surviving are his widow, Mrs Hazel Lane Herring; three sons, 
Robert S Herring, NC., Dennis E and Marty D Herring, Hollywood;  two 
daughters, Mrs Drucilla H Goff, Givens, Ga, and Misty D Herring, Hollywood; 
four brothers, Luther Herring, Aiken; Edgar, Kever (sp), and Hagood Herring, 
all of Dillon; a sister, Mrs Sara Lee, Dillon; four grandchildren.  Services 
will be held Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon.
