Monroe D Jackson
Dillon--Monroe David Jackson, 62, died Monday at a local hospital.
Born in Dillon County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Annie Hyatt Jackson. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of V F W and the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Pauline Jackson; three sisters, Mrs Mattie Jackson, Mrs Louise Musselwhite, and Mrs Mildred Jones of Dillon; and two brothers, John Henry Jackson of Dillon, and James Edward Jackson of Fairfield, California.
Services will be held at 4 pm Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Cooper Funeral Home is in charge.
