William Monroe Herring

Danville, Va---Services for William Monroe Herring were held Monday June 7, 1999 in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, Dillon, SC., with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Dillon, SC.

Mr Herring, 51, died Saturday, June 5, 1999 in Danville Regional Medical Center.

Born in Dillon County, June 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Henry Herring and Hazel Snipes Herring. He was a retired textile worker.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Barrintine of Dillon; sons, Scottie Paul Herring of Florence, William Monroe Herring, Jr., and Ray Herring of Dillon; sisters, Geneva Brown of Dillon and Barbara Jean Lovelace of Gastonia, NC.; brothers, Delmea Herring of Dillon, Eldred Herring of High Point, NC., and Robert Earl Herring of North Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren.
