Hazel Miller

Dillon--Services for Hazel Powell Miller, 77, will be held at 4pm Thursday at Dillon Second Baptist Church with burial in Bermuda Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 tonight at Cooper Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Dillon Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 1016 Hwy 301 S., Dillon, SC 29536.

Mrs Miller died Monday, June 26, 2000 at St Eugene Medical Center after an illness. Born in Marietta, NC., April 12, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Colon Powell and Hattie Grey Powell. She was the retired owner of Miller's DayCare, was a member of Dillon Second Baptist Church, the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, and was very active in serving her church and her community. She was the widow of the late Joe C Miller.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle (Randy) Harrelson of Florence, Janice (Edward "Mish) Rogers of Dillon, Joan (Jimmy) Mishue of Dillon, Patricia (Jerry) Barr of Florence; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy (Margie) Miller of Florence, Bobby Joe (Sylvia) Miller of Thomasville, NC, Jesse Wayne Miller, Phil Miller, both of Dillon; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
