STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA NO. 655
To all to whom these presents shall come greeting Know ye
that we for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Shillings for every
hundred acres hereby granted paid in to our treasury by William Gibson have
given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said William
Gibson a tract of land containing one hundred and fifty acres lying and being
in our County of Bladen on the Big swamp Beginning at a stake on the Province
line and running North forty two chains to a pine thence East thirty five
chains seventy one links a lightwood stake thence seventy one links to the
Beginning granted at Fairfield the twenty third day of October in the seventh
year of our Independence and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and Eighty two.
