Austin Lee Caulder
Marion-Services for Austin Lee Caulder, 73, will be held at 3pm Friday January 14, 2000 at Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church, with William C Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Caulder Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Smith-Collins Funeral Home.
Mr Caulder died Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.
Born April 1, 1926 in Marion Cty, he was a son of the late Leander and Doshie Caulder Caulder. He was a retired farmer. Mr Caulder was a US Army veteran, having served in World War II as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazelene Watson Caulder of the home; children, Audrey Caulder Johnson of Galivant's Ferry, Jimmy Caulder of Marion, Richard Austin Caulder of Marion, and Kimberly Caulder Graham of Green Sea; sisters, Lucy Caulder Carter of Clearwater, Fla, and Daisy Caulder Richardson of Mullins, nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
