Henry T Richardson of Marion Dies
Marion---Henry Thomas Richardson, 77, a retired law enforcement officer, died
Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born in Marion County, he was a son of the late Allen and Ranzie Tanner
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Odessa Price Richardson of Marion; a daughter,
Mrs Walter Brock of Russel Springs, Ky; three sons, Ervin Richardson of Mullins, Allen
W Richardson of Lake City and D Tommy Richardson of Scranton; three step-sons,
Harold Prevatte of Mullins, Gene Modlin of Houston, Tex, and Kemper Lee Modlin of
Fort Soals, Okla; four stepdaughters, Mrs Queenie Carter of Fork, Mrs Cherry P Tyndall
of Latta, Mrs Linda Vaughn and Mrs Susan Pridgen of Florence; three sisters, Mrs John
Graves of Lumberton, NC., Mrs Myrtle Williams of Burlington, NC., and Mrs Luther
Hamilton of Dillon; 17 grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren,
and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3pm today at Smith Brothers Funeral Home, with burial in Old
Zion Church Cemetery.
