Harold Snipes Sr
Blythewood--Graveside service for Harold Edward Snipes, Sr, 71, of 1366 Sherill Lever Road, will be held at 3pm Thursday, September 19, 1996, in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 pm tonight in Talbert Shives Funeral Home.
Mr Snipes died Monday September 16, 1996 at his residence. Born in Marion, he was a son of the late Olin Watson Snipes and Mamie Milligan Snipes. He was a Navy/Air Force veteral of WWII and the Korean conflict. He was owner/operator of Snipes Toys and Hobbies and vice president of Snipes Electric Co., Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Smith Snipes of Blythewood; sons, Harold Snipes Jr of Lexington, Victor Snipes of Columbia, Rodney Snipes of Blythewood, Mark Snipes of Elgin and David Snipes of Tampa, Fla; a daughter, Dorothy E McAdams of Phoenix, Ariz; five grandchildren; brothers, Olin Snipes of Micro, NC, Cecil Snipes of Latta, Caroll Snipes of Marion and H Wayne Snipes of Columbia; sisters, Louise Owens of White Oak, NC, and Wilma Williams of Columbia.
