The following will of Right Bass is transcribed by Winkie Robinson from LDS
Microfilm I. L. #024127, SC Marion Co Wills 1800-1888 pp. 124-125, the word
"pages" is not written thereon. This transcription is as close to the
original will as I have been able to make it. There may be minor errors so
please check the original if in doubt. Words in [ ] are questionable, the
scribbles "~~" indicate a mark, & a name with a comma "Tho's" indicates "s"
is above rest of name, as for Thomas.
I also have this same Will from Probate Roll #64 obtained from the
Probate Judge's Office, Marion Co, SC. In comparing these wills, the only
significant change is the LDS photocopy does not contain the sentence re
Daughter Martha . When this will was recopied, evidently this one sentence
was omitted. The other changes in the will are mainly differences in some
words being capitalized in one copy and not the other. I don't see any other
pertinent changes.

[Herein begins Second Version: Will of Right Bafs, Probate Roll #69, Marion
District, SC, by Winkie Robinson. This Will, which was part of the Probate
record, consists of 4 legal size sheets of paper. The pages have no heading
and the first page is the only one not numbered, all others have a "circled
1" at top of page. Therefore, I will use brackets "[ ]" to enclose page #s.
Brackets will also be used when a word is unclear to me. Names with a comma
will indicate the letter is above the name "Tho's" for Thomas; dashes are
used "--" as they occur in this document, appearing on the right margin only.
This transcription is as near to the original as I can make it. Please
check the original if in doubt as there may be some unavoidable errors on my
part.]
