WILL OF
ROBERT EXUM
In the name of God Amen I Robert Exum of the State of South Carolina
District of Marion being weak in body but of sound & disposing mind memory
& understanding do make this my last will & Testament in the manner & form
following (Viz) I give devise & bequeath unto my Wife Mary Exum & unto
my children Henry Exum, Shields Exum, Mary Exum John Exum & William Exum
all my personal property to be equally divided among them. & when the first
child comes of age of Twenty one It is my will & devise that there be three
or more appraisers appointed to value my property & give unto the first child
coming of age //or ////////marrying his or theirin equal proportion and so on with each
child coming of the age of Twenty one
Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute & appoint my Brother John Exum
& Daniel Davis Executors of this my last will & testament hereby Revoking all
other & former Wills by me made In case It may be deemed necefsary In Witnefs
whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 20th day of February 1822
