                                       WILL OF

                                     ASIA HINDS

     State of South Carolina

             In the name of God amen.  I Asia Hinds of marion District

being Sick in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make

this my last will and testament revoking all others by me heretofore made.

1st item.  I desire that all my Just debts be paid as soon as possible

after my death in the exercise of a wise discretion in my executors. here-

after to be named this may be don by moneys due my estate or moneys in hand.

2nd  my will and desire is that all my estate remain together as it is until

my youngest child becomes of age.

3d  To my wife Eliza E Hinds I give the house and twenty five acres of land

around the same together with one horse five head of cattle two sows and 

pigs & one bed & furniture, So long as she lives or during her widowhood

should she marry or at her death, all the property above named Shall belong

to my children namely, Thomas A Hinds. Elizabeth Hinds. James Hinds. and 

Eliza Jane Hinds.

4th  When my youngest child Shall arrive to the age of twenty one years the

residue of my estate real and personal Shall be divided between my children

namely Thomas A Hinds Elizabeth Hinds, James Hinds and Eliza Jane Hinds or

so many of them as may be living at that time Share and Share alike

5th  I hereby appoint my friends J. A Brown and Doct Wm  R Johnson my exe-

cutors to this my last will and testament, Witnefs my hand and seal this the

twenty second day of March in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred

and fifty four and in the seventy eighth year of american independance
