South Carolina, Marloboro Co. Will Book A Vol # 1 pg. 218 GEORGE QUICK In the name of God Amen I George Quick being of Sound mind and Perfect memory blefsed (bless ed) be God for the same do on th 26th day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Eight (1828) do make and ordian this my Last Will and testament in the manner and from following Viz. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret all of my Lands and Tenaments together with the house and imporovements thereon and all my household and Kitchen furniture Except such as shall hereafter be mentioned. Also a Negro fellow by the name of Rogers and a Negro woman by the name of Dice together with all of my Stock of Cattle Horses and Hogs and the Increase there of during her natural Life and after her Decease the Remaining Residue of the above mentioned Property bequeathed to my beloved wife I desire to be Equally divided amongst all my children. I Give and Bequeath to all my children namely William and George and Jessey and John and Margaret and Thigher and Honor and Nancy One negro each which negroes eight in number are now living and on the plantation namely Bob and Beck and Harry and Isom and Sarah and Easter and nelly and Reaner said dividison said negroes between the before named children I desire shall be done according to the directions of my Sole Executors as will hereafter show when appointd.I Give and Bequeath to my daughter Pithighter one feather bed extra, leaving my wife to point out the bed. 4. I Give and bequeath to my daughter Honor one feather bed extra leaving it with my wife to point it out. 5 I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy one feather bed extra leaving it with my wife to point it out. I nominate and appoint my Son William and My Son Jesse my Sole and Lawful Executers to this my Last will and testament Signed and sealed in the presence of L. Goodwin George (X) QUICK His mark Thomas Quick Wm. Davis Witness on the day and date above Recorded in Will Book A. pg 164 8th Nov. 1828 Case ! Box 20 Wm. Easterling Ord. M.D
