Arrested for desertion and jailed at Charleston, SC, 7 Feb 1863. Last reported confined in jail at Charleston, SC, 31 Oct 1864. Post-war, engineer in Charleston, SC. d. 13 May 1900, and buried in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Charleston, SC. m. Mary HARTNET, abt. 1867.

QUINN, William H.: HCCPVT, York Dist. b. abt 1815, York Dist., SC. Residence: York, SC; occupation: farmer. Enlisted at Unionville, SC, 7 Nov 1862, age 44, but never reported for duty. Farming at York, SC, in 1880.

(QUINTAN (QUINTIN, QUINTON), James: 17/B, 5/GPVT, Charleston Dist. b. abt. 1838. 5' 10" tall, light complexion, mixed hair, blue eyes. Enlisted at Charleston, SC, 1 Apr 1862, age 24. Capt. at Trevilian Station, VA, 11 Jun 1864. Sent to Elmira, NY, and released, 10 Mar 1865.
