A GEDCOM Database CAN NOT NORMALLY BE POLICED.  You should expect its content to be incomplete, contain inaccuracies & typo errors.  Attempting to make permanent record changes to a GEDCOM Database, isn't worth the effort - incorrect records, will simply continue to be merged into this database.  The trick is to try and determine "who" is making the incorrect submittals and have them change their records.          

 

Herman Geschwin is now deceased and his database file dated 01-Dec-2006 (381,000 individuals), appears to be his last issue.  You can download Herman's 01-Dec-2006 database issue by visiting http://www.oldpendleton.scgen.org/.  This project has currently gone dormant.   

 

It should be noted that the following webpage information is a Pickens County SC GenWeb Project and maintained by such. 

This info simply represents a printout of Herman Geschwind's database dated 31-Dec-2004. 

Since it's a donated historical record, the GenWeb Project will not normally make any changes to it.
