LAKE VIEW -- Mrs. Violet H. Cox, 58, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at McLeod Regional Medical
Center after an illness.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at the Oakdale Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mrs. Cox was born in Dillon County the daughter of Mrs. Grace King Horne and the late
James Elbert Horne. She was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. William E. Cox of the home; her mother, Mrs. Grace K. Horne of
Lake View; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Cox Barnes of Lumberton, N.C.; a son, Mr. Ricky Cox of Fairmont, N.C.;
two grandsons, William and Curtis Barnes; a granddaughter, Amber Cox; a sister, Mrs. Judy H. Hyatt of Dillon;
three brothers, Mr. Tony Horne, Mr. Sammy Horne, and Mr. James Michael Horne of Lake View.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at the funeral home.
