Sam Watson

Longs---Sam Watson, 72, died Sunday at his home after a long illness.
Born in Marion County, he was a son of the late Stonewall C and Fannie Stackhouse Watson. He was a retired farmer.
Services will be Tuesday at 4pm in Loris United Methodist Church with burial in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Hancie Richardson; two sons, Walker C Watson of Conway and Bill Watson of Loris; a daughter, Mrs Carolyn W Anderson of Huntsville, Ala; three sisters, Mrs Lila Watson of Dillon, Mrs L B Dawes Jr., of Loris, and Mrs Ernestine Floyd of Greenville.
Hardwick Funeral Home is in charge.
